ACCIDENTS AT WORK AND MAJOR INDUSTRIAL ACCIDENTS

Unfortunately accidents at work can happen. However good the preventive measures. In the wake of a major industrial accident companies often commission an investigation. In certain situations a company is legally obliged to do so. Accidents are also regularly investigated by regulators and police. They may finally result in administrative enforcement and in criminal prosecution of the company and of the persons involved. On occasion the Dutch Safety Board will start an investigation.
